Not satisfying and predictable :(
-
dont ruin it you fucking non-west coasters

They get Hera back.
Mayhem ensues.
They land on a planet that looks like Earth and decide to call it Earth.
My spite live on.
I am now ruining things from beyond guildchat. Someone copy and paste this in guildchat, while crediting it to me, before the west coasters get it.

GOD DAMMIT I ACCIDENTLY READ THAT I HATE YOU

The disappearing Starbuck at the very end is very perplexing.
-
PPS: the trailer for Caprica looks terrible. However, the Cylon point of view next fall might be interesting.
-
Ya well it might not have been the most jaw dropping finale in TV history but I still cried like a bitch. Damn these human fucking emotions!
-
I could have done without the entirety of the last hour of the finale. They explained things with angels/hera as a destined eve, and not with science. If I wanted that I'd watch Veggie Tails.

Everything went wrong for me after Boomer's death.
Cavil commits a quick suicide after the truce fails.
They jump to Earth, our Earth, and decide to call it Earth (I thought this was going to happen and I was very disappointed that it turned out to be the case).
Forgoing all technology was not believably supported by events in the series.
Starbuck disappeared (apparently a corporeal ghost-angel-ninja).
Hera is Eve.
The glimpse 150,000 years into the future.
Normally the religious aspect of the show would have turned me off; however, I accepted it, but I would have appreciated more detailed resolution regarding Starbuck. I enjoyed the series, but the ending seemed unfitting.

I thought they did a great job with the finale. My girlfriend and I have been die hard fans of the show since the beginning and I feel the big mistake they made was not writing the full script and storyline prior to shooting, going in a shitty direction for season 3 and having to deal with the shit they created for themselves in season 4. I do feel however, with where they have gone with the show the past couple years, they'd be hard pressed to make a better finale. They resolved everything yet didn't beat you over the head with answers. They didn't take the overly dark route and kill everyone off, yet they didn't end up on some pre-war Caprica-like utopia where everyone rides rainbows and shits candy canes either. I love how they tied their ending into the beginning of our world without making it way too "in your face". The characters all finally got what they deserved, however sad it may have been for many of them. All-in-all I wish the series would have stayed as awesome and mind blowing as it was in seasons 1 and 2 but I'm glad they kept making more and very glad to see such a clever, action packed yet emotional ending to it all.

a little predictable maybe, but i agree with seken. they did a good job considering the rut they dug at the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4.
/contented

Yeah I have to agree , it was good and they resolved everything which is the one thing some tv shows miss out on. Could it have been better? maybe but it still is a better ending then 99% of other tv shows.

If that is the case, I am even more proud of myself and now I need to find another show to ruin. I'm guessing that was Thelnie.

Wait a sec. Since when did you watch BSG?
-
I managed to catch up to watching all of them up until Daybreak pt1 before last week. One of Emi's friends has a big tv and had lots of friends over for the final so we watched it there. It was Emi's first and last episode of BSG.
The biggest suprise of the whole thing was that Emily didn't ask any questions throughout the whole thing.
Seeing Lampkin become president was clearly the best part of the whole thing. I really disliked the in your face god / angel thing though. It had always sorta existed as a theme throughout the whole thing but was never concrete, you always felt that it could have been explained through with science.
Agree that Al taking his last leap home via a gun to his own head was a bit of a lame way for him to go out.
-
I watched it over your shoulder Asmo, just like Heroes. Only difference is half of it you watched while I was asleep unlike Heroes which you subjected me to the entirety of, painfully.

That's like the entire series in a month...

Nice sig, not all that true though. Emi has been Jonesing for another hit of WoW.

I thought the old man fight was the pinacle of BSG awkwardness, but Bill vomiting on himself outside a strip club took that to a whole new level.
I personally like the theory that Kara was eaten by a large prehistoric monster.
