I've had both variations of the G15 and can say they are still the most reliable keyboard I have owned to date.

It still bothers me to this day that a man of such a large vocabulary on ventrilo spells like a 13 year old girl on a cell phone.  :emot-ese:

I use the Razer Lycosa. I've had no issues with it, and it's got a really nice feel and response when you push buttons.

The reason I didn't get a G15, is because i'm never going to use 95% of the bells and whistles that you pay for, so I'd rather spend the money on something that A.) feels good and B.) looks good.

It's the same reason I have a G9 for a mouse and not the Razer Naga or the WoW mouse. Too many buttons, I'd just end up binding HL to all of them so what's the point.

I had a razer diamondback for about 4 years and loved the thing, recently got a razer death adder and love it even more. only has 2 thumb buttons (aside from the standard ones) so it's good if you're not in to the whole 465464 buttons thing. if you don't use a mouse pad, or your mouse pad has lots of tiny grooves in it you are going to need a new mouse pad with it though. The mouse is really sensitive to those grooves and the tracking will get thrown off by it unless you have a really smooth mouse pad.

If you go with the Hello Kitty one, you obviously need the matching UI.

Does it really matter what it looks like?  It's gonna end up with cheet and pubes between the keys eventually and maybe a code red stain on the number pad.  Just get a $10 generic and move on with your life.

I'm getting the Razer Naga for Christmas, I'll post a trip report once it arrives.
