as some of you know i'm like a fucking fanatic of games like resident evil and zombie games in general. rome told me about this game awhile back then i kinda forgot about it but have been recently watching the demos and videos and shit since it's close to launch. is anyone else going to be playing this? i know rome and i will but it'd be cool if more of you played with us so we didn't have to play with retards. here's an awesome video, music is very fitting:

Demo is the 6th, and yes it will kick in if you preordered on steam.  Dunno how much demo time I'll have with gears 2 coming out friday.

Demo seems interesting, although too many PUGs just want to Rambo it up so it becomes near to impossible past Normal difficulty because nobody understands the concept of covering fire. =/

Will be interesting to see how the vs mode plays out.

This game is amazing. I'm really depressed it's getting released right after WLK though.

While the 360 version of this is going to be a lot better than the orange box, you really need to get the PC one.  If your PC runs wow, it runs this (all the source shit really).  The amount of free new maps, characters, weapons, etc makes it more than worth it.  In order for Valve to release the DLC on the 360, they have to wait longer and make larger updates, and they are forced to sell it by Microsoft rather than give it away.

So I own left for dead, right.  I got home for the holidays, and my parents actually have a pretty burly mac now.  Is there a way to redownload l4d and just play it without buying it?  I can't seem to find one, because you can't install steam on a mac.  Anyone have any ideas?
