Good God this was an amazing movie.  I know lots of people find Star Wars better but omg this was amazing.  Bones was so spot on it was uncanny.  Wondering if everyone else thought it was incredible too.

I went to see it with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised it was really done very well.

Definitely the best Star Trek movie, that just isn't saying much. Go in with low expectation and be pleasently surprised is the best route  ;D

Think Transformers without Megan Fox.

I liked it.  The special effects were more star-wars like (realistic) and the cheesy lines were kept to a minimal.  Good job with how they tied Spock (old spock) into it as well.

Like Broseph Stalin, you are leading the way to the dictatorship of the broletariate. It is truly revbrolutionary. Like the Bro v. Wade of our generation. You brobliterate the enemy from the very peak of Mt. Brolympus. That's some shit. That's brolific. But that's the kind of bro you are.

Entertaining, but the story is a bit lame.

The first half I absolutely enjoyed it and if I left then I would have raved about it.  It was interesting and about all you can expect from a star trek movie really.

The last half was the least enjoyable.  It definitely felt made to fit a certain formula.

Just to clear things up, said formula is "we have to make it so there can be a sequal or 12"

1. Leonard Nimoy lending credibility to the series
2. Convenient use of time travel.

This thread will now be held hostage.  I expect $20 million dollars within the next 24-hours or else I will spoil more movie secrets.
