So I just finished watching the first season, and I have to say I'm a fan.  The writing is sharp, the plot arcs are interesting and edgy, and David Duchovny finally found something he was good at.

I don't know what Showtime bought, but I'll be damned if their shows (Dexter, Californication, Weeds) aren't some of the best shows on TV right now.

I just started watching this last week, I think so far it's one of my favorite shows ever.

Seems like HBO is finally taking a back seat to another premium channel. I have watched all of these series and have to agree with stent.

However the 4th season of weeds seems to be quite a stretch. I fear after only 3 seasons it has because totally unbelievable however I still find myself watching.

Yeah Showtime is basically cleaning house, another gem of theirs is The Tudors.  Seriously, the plot is extremely in depth at times with a lot of political intrigue but christ is it good.
