Team Ico released a trailer for their new game at E3, and it looks epic (with the past 2 games they've released, I can only assume it is)

The art style on the kid looks completely out of place with the rest of the game (the environment and especially the other actors). Really takes away from it imo.

Seems to me like that was a design decision in order to keep the main character from blending too much into the scenery. With the transition between the bright and dark spaces + saturation effects it would be easy to lose track even if he had a loud color palette.

I dunno, I think the art looks great.  The character has the same art style that the past 3 games have had, they just upgraded the graphics of the environments and NPCs and stuff.

Also, I want a giant catbirdthing.
