The wait for this update has been compared by many to the decade-long wait for the Guns n' Roses album.  I will try to be slightly less terrible.  This is a lot of pressure.  I don't respond well to pressure.  I usually freak out and release an inky cloud of sputum under which I can make my escape.

 So without further ado.

Aparently this Ulduar stuff is the new news eh?

Congrats to all on the server first.  We got a few other server firsts along the way, the most notable of these being Mimiron

Let's see if we can't reverse engineer Blizzard's ingenuity on this "new and interesting" boss.

Part 1: Dr. Wily

Ok, done. That's it.  Good job Blizzard.  Go back to lighting your cigars with hundreds.

Ulduar did require a little bit of overtime and 110% effort from all our members.  This can be particularly hard on some of our east coasters

(He really did. No, really.  It's a good thing they're special ed so they can't tattle on him)

All in all, we're pretty happy with Ulduar, even though calling achievements "bosses" doesn't exactly ring my bell.  However, it is wrecking havoc on our DKP mod.

And they finally did figure out how to turn the absolute worst trash in the world into the absolute best:

Drivable tanks.  Need I say more?

Now that we're done with the zone (with the exception of hard modes) we get a lot of tells asking us for our "leet strats", as to share the love with the lesser guilds of Hyjal.  While I'm not going to divulge any of our new, hyper-secret, mega-complex strategerie, I will give you some brief insight into the workings of the Casual war machine.

Figure 1:  Malygos

If you can't win, exploit.  Right?

In all seriousness folks, Casual's strat's usually follow the following basic template:

1. Hold monster still.
2. Hit it with swords.
3. ???
4.  Argue over loot

Mad ups to all our members who stuck out the longer hours and verbal abuse.  I'm a little scared to meet some of you in person now, as I'd more than likely be walking into an ambush, armed with of socks full of pennies.   Calling someone bad at a videogame 20 hours a week is no basis for a long-lasting friendship.  That's right, we still only raid 20 hours a week, sup zerg guilds?

Now, a brief tribute to the members who are no longer with us.

Bag the Realest Druid is no longer amongst the raiding.  You can likely find him somewhere between his fridge, couch and television.

He does drop in once and a while to share with us his special brand of charm.  He had the good fortune to be present when Piston made the grave error of linking family pictures.

By the way, if you're a girl on the internet, never link pictures.  Even if you don't tell us which one is you.

Ventrilo may have killed the radio star that was guild chat, but there is something that guild chat could never truly capture.  That, ladies and gentlemen (who am I kidding, chicks don't read this) is harmony.

That's right.  Casual, proud home of the latest music sensation that's sweeping the nation.

Also look for Hacks, aka "cash cab," aka "rank 8 fireball," aka "no-metagem, no-problem," to make his triumphant return to the raiding arena soon

Try craigslist.

Next stop Algalon.  Do we have what it takes?  Can we rise to the challenge?  Only time will tell.  And Casual may have changed a lot over the years, but some things never change.

Queer as a fruitbat he is.
